Robert P. Como served as a police officer with the Nassau County Police Department (N.Y.) for twenty-one years. He was voted "Cop Of The Month" seven times, and has received the Excellent Police Duty Award. He holds a bachelor's degree in behavioral Sciences/Criminal Justice, and master's degrees in Public Administration, and counseling. He has done individual, group, and family-systems counseling for mental health, substance abuse, and relational issues in a children's shelter, county jails, and state prisons. He resides in Florida with his wife Doreen and their four sons. Presently he is doing research for his next novel, which will be set in Florida.
